So I have been having sound issues with my atr3350 with weird sounds like digital popping. I'm thinking I could get away with cutting the cord down if there is a short in the wiring but also get a real manageable length of cable.. Has any one tried this or have any advice before I cut this down. Audio technica has been zero help and when I got the mix it was great but now the sound is poor and I'm wondering if the cable length is the issue and shorting..
