I am shooting a wedding this saturday the ceremony is during the day and a toasting with dinner party late in the afternoon + the party at night, the client specificly requested that didn't wanted any bright lights so I am gonna put some paper or filters to dim the light down any suggestions about what settings to use or how to shoot this, also in the manual that comes with the camere says the f3 setting or scene spark says suited to shooting for accentuating the subjects for shooting wedding receptions ect. any feedback about that. wedding videographers please help.

I filmmed a wedding last weekend and unlike what canon and sony user's will tell you the dvx in the 60i setting will hold up even in the dimest of lighting. the reception I did was pretty dark so I had to bump the gain up to 12db but the footage looks perfect the grain isn't even noticable and I can't be happier with the footage the dvx puills off. my only tiff was with the brides mother who set the light's and I talked to her about bumping them up so she did, and then sure enough as soon as the bridal party were being brought in they dropped the lights back to the original, with out warning, a mad dash to change the settings, and hit that gain, but in the end all's good.
