Fisher dolly alternative?

Is there a cheap knockoff version? something relatively light weight, on wheels, with an operator's seat, and boom functionality.

Anything?

excellent stuff on there, but nothing that include ALL features I'm looking for. Someone should really get on this and make a cheaper version. they'd get rich! :)

ok, I'll try to make it easier. I there something like the porta-jib, but smaller? so wheels, boom function, but no operators seat. I'm not looking for huge crane shots.

THANKS

The Cineventions one is advertised on DVXuser. I haven't seen any footage from it. The Portajib is really a good way to go in terms of jib arms.

The Indiedolly has a new electronic column that was cool to play with at NAB. The Cineventions has no dolly though so it negates your purpose unless you combine it will the right dolly.

The cineventions jib is definitely not a replacement for a Fisher dolly, but it is a well-built jib.

ah, much closer to what i was thinking. :) How did you like it? did you use it on track?

It was semi-broken when we rented it which limited it (we got a deal), but it worked out fine. The arm has about 3 feet of travel which allowed us to do some jib-like moves. We also used it on 360 degrees of 90 degree track which worked great.
