Fisher 21 jib with Chapman Pee Wee

Hey guys -

So I couldn't really find a "grip" forum but figured this issue is most closely related to Cinematography. I wanted to know if anyone knows if a Fisher 21 jib can be mounted on a Chapman Pee Wee dolly. I friend of mine mentioned the head on the Chapman is different from the heads on Fishers so I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this.

Anyway, I apologize if this post was misplaced, but any assistance would be appreciated!

Thanks!

JL Fishers website says that the 21 jib has a mitchell mount, and as far as I could find on the Chapman website, so do all the PeeWee dollies. I believe you will be fine.

thanks for the reply, Matthew. i did double-check the site and it looks like you're right. i'll be going to the dolly check out just to make sure.

i also did find another piece of useful information - the jib must be rigged onto the High Post Assembly on the Chapman. if you're using the Fisher 11, there's a center mount you would need to attach onto the dolly first. i guess what this does is place the jib towards the center of the dolly, rather than having it rigged onto the arm on one end.
