First time with Lectro's

So on Sunday, I get my first chance to use Lectrosonics. I think the sound mixer has the 201 series, 401 series, and the Venue set up. I think we're using the 201 or 401 since there will only be 3 people max in the shot. The whole day is interior shots. Anything I should know or anything you guys recommend to me before Sunday? Want to learn as much as possible before getting my hands on these (BTW, we're running sanken cos-11's and countryman b6's.)

Make sure you cover the action with a boom as well. Many times I have seen the boom mic save the day when a wireless lav (including Lectrosonics) glitched, or clothing noise or actor movement covered up a critical word of dialog.

Just make sure to put fresh batteries in before use. I'm sure you know that but I have been on set where a sound utility person forgot to put new batteries in and the mics went dead on a very important scene. Luckily there was the boom op BUT that could have been avoided.

Also maybe you should try to meet up with the Sound mixer and go over his/her work flow so on set Sunday you are ready to go and have a heads up on their work flow. If possible. I highly suggest it. Also look over the equipment with them.

You mention you'll be using Sanken COS-11's and Countryman B6's.
Realize that because the sanken is a 3 wire mic and the B6's are a 2 wire mic
they will be out of phase with each other.
Flip your phase/polarity on your mixer on the "worst" one after experimenting with multiple mics open and a boom open if you're using one.

2nd note.
If you use 201's and 401's together at the same time you're using analog
and digital (hybrid) at the same time.

The digital (401) has a 2ms delay to the signal, not noticable to the eye
but mixing both types of systems can have an "out of phase" sound happen to it
when both mic's are close to one source.

People do use analog and digital systems together and everything can work out fine
but you should be aware of the possible issues.

I know he has both systems, but am not sure if we're using both in the same scene (I assume we are if we're doing 2 or more people in the shot.) Should I have the actors who are in close proximity to each other wear either 401's or 201's?

Thank you to all who have chimed in so far.
