first time buying on ebay

So I bought an SLR camera on eBay a few weeks ago, and it was the first thing I've ever bought through eBay and I still haven't gotten it.

So I won the auction on the $113.00 camera on September 18th. I had to activate my Paypal and a few other things so I didn't turn the payment in until September 26th, but the entire time I kept in contact with the seller and we exchanged a few messages.

Then, I turned in the payment and sent him a message letting him know, and he didn't write back. So I wrote him another message a few days later and he responded that he was in LA and he wouldn't be able to send it a few days. That last message he sent was about a week ago. So now I messaged him again yesterday about how the process was going and he still hasn't answered.

Should I be worried about getting scammed? I mean I did pay almost two weeks ago..

well it took you over a week to pay, so he may feel no urgency in shipping... i think you have 45 days to file a claim with paypal, give him untill tuesday and send another message, paypal requires that you ship within 7 days of recieving payment and that will of been two weeks. if he still doesnt reply you can request his phone # from ebay and give him a call and see whats up...
