Hey all,
So one of my buddies took our drunken conversation to the next level, and actually followed through with plans made after many cocktails and launched First Strike Reviews: http://firststrikereviews.wordpress.com/.
Basically we were just talking about how crappy and tired most films these days are, and how you can figure out the entire film (and often the "crazy" plot twists) just by watching the trailer...thus first strike reviews were born. Movie reviews, without even seeing the film!
Here's the mission statement:
First and foremost, this is not a review blog in the traditional sense.
In a world where Hollywood seems content to start shooting sequels to movies that haven’t even premiered yet (or even finished principal photography on), it only seems fair to turn the tables on them and review their movies before they open. So everything contained herein will be presumed and extrapolated based solely on first impression of the media that the Hollywood hype machine has deemed fit for public consumption (and some it may not). NONE of these movies were or will be watched in their entirety during their review process.
Sincerely,
Montgomery Court
If anyone has any ideas for reviews, I'm sure that he would accept submissions!
