I'm impressed with the build quality and design. Some parts actually seem overengineered, like the ball mount which is VERY substantial.
Optional barndoors and eggcrate slip into a channel that you access through a panel with a sliding release. Easy, very secure, and the extra pieces offer very good protection for the tubes.
Doesn't look like anything will break or wear out, assuming reasonable care. Good thing setup is so easy, tho, because it comes with absolutely no written info ... not even a flyer listing precautions. (Surprising in this litigious age!)
Can't comment on the actual light output yet, as my tubes shipped separately and aren't here yet. I'll add a few words on that later.
