First HD Project

Well I knew the day would come, and it's here.
A client has requested his project be delviered in HD.
I have a DVX 100 and will likely likey rent an HVX 200 with firestore or P2 cards.
Now I know somebody's going to ask me to buy a book or a DVD and I will do that at some time in the future.
What I need to know now is work flow.
Do I just go through the same motions as with SD?... capture, edit, render, burn.
Or is there something more mysterious and scary to surprise and baffle me.
Also are their buget considerations beyond the rental.
My computer is a dual core (I think) with 2 GHZ of ram.
That enough?
These are a series of one minute videos with a longer corporate overview for a retirement home.

Rental house inlcudes firestore but not P2 cards.
What's better? Anybody?
I'll be cuttin this in Vegas!
There I'm qualified in this forum!

Well, with Vegas, the first thing you need is Raylight, or you won't be able to work with the footage at all.

No capturing. That's the point of the tapeless workflow -- the video already exists as data files.

The cards are superior to the Firestore in every way except storage capacity.

Not going to be able to deliver HD on standard DVD, except as data only.
