First film review!!!

Very cool! How did that come about, did you submit it or did they review it on their own based on festival submission?

The review definitely leaned to the postive side, so that's cool :thumbsup:
 
I submitted it... about two months ago... figured, why not, see if they review it... :) And they did... Yeah, it was pretty positive overall, and I got two popcorn buckets... at least not one! :)

Congrats, Brandon....you deserve a lot of credit for being someone who completes things rather than just talk about them...ultimately, the review is secondary to the achievemant...Here is an excerpt from a book of mine that is due for release soon...It is actually a quote by Theodore Roosevelt that is in a chapter titled "For Starters...FINISH"

Wow, thanks Stan, and great quote! Awesome stuff... Yeah, I just have to be out there doing stuff... I go stir crazy not doing things.
 
Well, first off he reviewed your piece, which is great news because now your name is out there on the internet, getting reviews. So this is a big step for promotion as you as a filmmaker.

Secondly, he said it's entertaining, which is what you set out to do.

Thirdly, the down-points, where the ending and acting on some parts.

Good news is, these are things that can be solved in your next production.

Well, right now, Smuggler's Ransom, and the little short I did for horrorfest. I also finished post work on a kid's short... about three months ago, and I am working on another kid's film, sort of a superhero spoof film, we're shooting that in a month.
