First feature finished. Now what do I do?

[Can Scanner]

I just finished my first feature. Now I'd like to make some money.
I like the idea of hitting the festivals, so I'm looking into that...
Right now I've got a few people that are pretty high up on the chain that are interested. I'm planning on sending them DVDs of the finished flick, with a "watermark"- a very transparent title in the corner of the frame for the duration of the movie: FOR SCREENING PURPOSES ONLY. Is this a good idea? It's very unobtrusive, and it protects against any attempts to distribute the movie without my consent. While I know the people I'm sending DVDs to, I haven't met all of them, and you can't trust anyone in this business.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

BTW, check out the trailer for the movie, called Remote Control Grandpa-
