First Edit with Vegas

Hope I did things right...But,
When I opened capture in Vegas, I noticed that it was showing me the footage in widescreen. Thats good because I shot it squeeze mode 24PA progressive. I had to change a setting to progressive to get rid of what seemed to be a stutter effect when I played back footage via Firewire looped through my deck going to a color monitor. Do you have to check anything for the pulldown or does it do it automatically?? If this is all correct, now comes the part of editing it. Ive used Premier, and I have to now change my thought process. Also, the footage looks awsome. I really wasnt expecting it to look so cinelike and the colors are excellent.
Alos wanted to ask if anyone knew of any Vegas workshops that are going to happen in the Atlanta area soon?

I have found making a quick burn to DVD is a great way to check out how my projects are going. I'll even go down the street to Circuit City and they let me view it on a large plasma. The dvx, 24p and just a little thoughtful lighting is an amazing sight - they think I really know what I'm doing.
