****ing love this beast...upgraded from a vx2000. rocks the sony's world.
first day out with the cam, just feeling it out. this was literally an hour after i recieved it in the mail from costco, so settings have not nearly perfected yet. sorry for the bad compression, ive been kicked off other decent free hosting sites from too much bandwidth, so this is my only choice, unless someone hosts. let me know what you think?...sorry if its kind of long and repetative, i threw it together. look forward to a lot of skate stuff from me in the future

So you got a DVX? If so, congratulations. Wait, you got it from Costco? ha! Do they sell DVX's? (Nope. I just checked their site.) You probably want feedback on your video, but I'm still stuck on the whole Costco comment? :) Why Costco? Did you buy in bulk? LOL

Oh, the video was cool. Looked liked you all had some fun.
 
Now if you could go down to the store and pick one up that would just be awesome. I would have done it a couple of times and just brought it back a day or two latter and told them something didn't work. I call it the Costco rental program
 
Color - OMG!!! Am I the only person who doesn't know about this little secret? It's like I've been living in another country or something. Oh wait... :) I still like to support the EVS's and B&H's and specialty shops. The world needs small shops and big shops to keep balance in the Universe. :)
 
Color, I'd tell you that is a pretty slick scam you got going on there but I'm still stuck on the fact that you can buy a DVX at COSTCO.
 
rlm - Me too. Buying it at Costco just makes the DVX seem so, ...so, I don't know, ...camcorderish and generic. :( Next Costco will be selling uranium to North Korea. lol That's right I'm comparing the DVX to radioactive material. :)
 
I had heard that Costco changed their return policy for computers (That you can only return them for a full refund within six months of purchasing) Did you confirm that this doesn't apply to the DVX?

well a DVX is very similar to a computer... they both can send e-mail and download porn.. er wait no i was thinking of a laptop..

Cute guys, I was just referring to the possibility that Costco knows how quickly cameras and some other electronics can become obsolete rather quickly, moreso than some other items that they sell. Just tryin' to look out for people...Good luck with your purchase.
