First D40 photos

Hi Guys,

I have received my D40 a couple of days ago and I finally had time to take it for a quick spin. Digital photography is still somewhat weird and new to me so go easy on me. The lens was a 28mm f2.8 ais. I made 2 versions of the same photos (One lighter more faded and another with stronger more contrasted colors...I prefer the more faded)

Looks good Rafa. Good eye. I like the desaturated look too, but the reds still pop. Keep it up for sure!

Thanks, Dan. I really liked the desaturated look. I might be exploring it for a while. Who knows, maybe it'll become one of my trademarks ;-)
