First Craigslist Score!!! Miller Fluid Head and sticks.

[David G. Smith]

After a long time looking, I kind of gave up perusing Craigslist for used gear... but I went on there early this week and finally found a great deal... I got a used Miller DS-30 fluid head and Miller single stage aluminum sticks, with a soft shell case... for just $500.00 and it is SWEET!!!. It is in great shape and the pan and tilt are smooth as silk. I guess I will be back there looking for more stuff. Here's a pic:

Very nice!

Thanks. I had been using a Bogen (pre-Manfretto) head and sticks for a long, long time... with doing a lot of event work over the past few years, it got the sh*t beat out of it and is shoot. I have been so used to fighting "Sticktion", that when I set up the Miller, I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!! ...of course... maybe I need to get out more!!!
