A german FCP community published their first benchmark results for the UB version of FCP 5.1 The UB version clearly seems to be about 10-15% faster on PowerPC Macs.
And now the great thing: on Dual Intel Macs (MacBook Pro/Intel Core Duo) rendering is 300-400 % faster compared to a Dual G5.
