Firmware update problem... help

I don't have the UPDATE option when I have my SD card in the camera...????

I am updating my HVX with the links on ProfesorU's page:

I did copy the PRIVATE folder that's inside the extracted file over to the root of the SD card.
I did format the SD card with the camera just to make sure.
I did try doing this on AC power.



please help...

If I can format the SD card, does that mean I have a compatible SD card?

You need to have the firmware update stuff in the private directory, all the way at the bottom in its own FW directory.

And yes, if you can format it then it should be completely compatible.

Thanks for the confirmation about the formatting.

I did have the Private folder at the root of the SD card... so why was the UPDATE option not showing up?
