Fireworks

Guys I have fireworks coming up this Wednesday. Night time. What should my settings be?

I've shot ground fireworks in progressive mode at around f2 - f 2.8. Came out fine. Would assume aerial fireworks would be ok at full wide aperature. No damage (that I know of) to camera.

Are those legal in Detroit?

No, the only legal f-stops in Detroit are f5.6 & f8. ;-)

Open wide and look! Chroma up! not too much ! Focus long, f80 perhaps? For intro shoot lower shutter 24th/sec... Then switch back to 48th/sec, after that go in for close ups... maybe dolly along with the explosions in the sky... sync to progressive post-rock in the background, or something...
