Does anyone know a workaround for the silver Intel Imac's firewire problem? FCP will not recognize camera/deck, and then computer freezes (beach ball) I am trying to capture some HDV footage (hv30) and have tried: capturing to ext HD, capturing to startup disk, restarting computer, unplugging computer (and waiting fifteen minutes). I had this problem before (with dv footage) and after 4 or 5 restarts it would work. Any suggestions?
