i use the dvx 100ae. I've just bought a G4 and need a fire wire cable. Are there any quick points on buying. i need a 4-6 pin one right? any buying tips?

Yes, you're going from a 4 pin-to-6 pin.
One thing to be concerned about is length. I've been told you want to stay away from anything longer than 15 feet.
As far as giving your money to the cashier, that seems so obvious one wonders
why it was even written :thumbsup:
