Firestore Video Static

We were doing a shoot with the HVX200 with the Firestore FS100, latest firmware, shooting QT PN30 (DVCPRO HD 720p). On a couple of shots, there were a few frames to a few seconds where the resulting footage was full of digital static stuff, as seen above. I am pretty sure it only occured when we were operating on a jib. The LCD on the camera didn't show the static, it was only discovered after getting it onto our computer. The audio is a loud hissing/popping noise when this happens as well. This was our first time shooting with this setup, using a new Firestore and a rented HVX. Luckily, we were able to edit around the ruined shots, but we want to know why/how this happened so we can try to avoid it next time around. If anyone has experienced this or might have an idea as to how this happened, I would greatly appreciate your help!

Thanks so much!

Yeah, I've had that sort of thing happen on a few occasions. From what I can tell it's caused by bumping the firewire connector.
