I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me. I own a firestore fs-100 with a 100GB HD in it and I want to upgrade to a 250GB HD. The drive is a Hitachi Travelstar (ATA/IDE). My question is for owners of the FS-100-250GB, seems like Hitachi never made a 250GB (IDE) drive, they do however make a 250GB with a (SATA) header which is not what my firestore needs. So finally here is the question can one of you who either has opened or would open their firestore check what brand of drive they used for their 250gb version and also what type of header they used (SATA or IDE). The only 250GB drive I could find with both 250GB and a IDE header was Western Digital WD2500BEVE. I know its scary to open the thing but i finally bit the bullet today and it wasn't all that bad just six screws and it opens up. Thanks in advance .
