I recently shot a Xmas event using a DVX100a and my Firestore recorder. I had the camera set for 24pa at at a shutter speed of 24 (to compensate for the low light) and the
Firestore set to record at 24p. After I burned the DVD and viewed it (I used VEGAS 6.0c and DVD 3.0 an a 24p timeline)I noticed it was jerky and often blurred. I went back to the timeline and found it was same there. I then checked the footage from the DV tapes and it was fine. I'm currently replacing the Firestore footage with the DV footage. My question is does anyone know what the heck is going on with my Firestore? Is there a setting I missed? Should I have recorded in AVI? If I can get it working it will speed up my workflow tremendously but right now it's worst than useless because it wasted my time. Thanks for your help.
