Firestore or Citidisk? Or none of the above?

I am shooting on DV tapes currently. I am looking to save myself the hassle of digitizing. I have read conflicting reviews of firestore and citidisk. Some even telling me not to use any hard drive solutions and stay with tape. Can anyone give me their experiences with both or an alternative that would give me reliable capture. Thank you

Since you posted in this forum, have you considered HVX200a, HPX170 P2 solutions? Pretty reliable according to those who use them. Or HMC150 if SD card is your preference. All of these eliminate tape and the 200a also has a mini-dv tape drive as well as p2.

Actually I own a Panasonic DVX. I am looking to get my footage into the editing process faster. I currently shoot scenes and then at night spend a lot of time digitizing the tapes with the same camera. What can I attach to my camera such as a Firestore or Citidisk that would allow me to just plug into my laptop after I'm done shooting and go straight into editing. The key is it has to be reliable. i'm hearing mixed results on hard drives. Is there something reliable? In addition I hate having to put the extra strain on my camera heads that digitizing causes.

Ditto, that FS-H200 looks real interesting.
Perrone, I noticed your Firestore a while back in some of your lighting setup pics. When using the Firestore on the DVX, is there still a pre-roll delay or does it start recording immediately?
