Firestore: fs4 or fs4pro?

[Filmjunkie677]

recently, ive been looking into the firestore for my DVX and was wondering if there is a major difference between the regular fs4 and the pro version. the price between the two is a couple grand, so I was leaning toward the regular.
Pros and cons of firestore???? Major differences between the pro and regular???? Does the pro offer more than the regular to justify a couple $1000 more????

[yellowdog]

doesnt the pro hold more strage wise?

Yeah, I think for the pro that you can choose 40gb or 80gb, i'm not sure.
Where's Rush!!!!????

Here is the link to the pdf that outlines the difference:

Pro has additional file formats
Pro has Pinnacle AVI, AVID DV OMF
Pro has time lapse
Pro has 80gb option
Pro has daisy chaining
Pro has loop back
Pro has scene marking
Pro has 10 sec retro

in a nutshell...
regards

i am also looking into purchasing a Firestore fs 4 pro. what are the pros and cons of using the firestore and do you recommend capturing to dv tapes even though you are using the firestore?

thank you!
