Firestore FS-4 HD / 16 P2 Card

Hello, I purchased a HVX200 cam a little while ago after seeing numerous good things said about it from this site and from wanting a good cam for a while now. At the time I bought it i couldn't really afford to pay for the memory, but im about to buy it hopefully this week.

Hopefully you guys could advice me on both the firestore FS-4 an the 16 P2?

which would you go for? is it true that the Fs-4 is exactly the same as the f-100? obviously apart from the memory size? is it true that these can be upgraded to fit a bigger hard drive?

any comments or advice would be appreciated.

I'm new at this myself so I can't really help you without trying both set-ups. I'm getting the new HVX200 with the 16GB P2. I figure that I can treat the 16GB P2 as a roll of 35mm film meaning I need to plan better for each shot and during downloading the P2 onto my laptop will give me a chance to get set up for the next shot. If you are filming sports or something that has a longer than 16 minutes of footage between shots than you may need to look at other options.
 
No, the FS-4 is not the same as the FS-100.

You'll need the FS-100 for use with the HVX. The FS-100 is now available with a larger capacity HDD (160GB I believe).
