Firestore FS-100 from NTSC to PAL?

Hello everyone!


I just purchased an NTSC version of the Firestore FS-100, 100 GB, latest firmware V4.0.1.04032008 is on, and I would like to convert it to PAL, since I live in Europe.

Firestore support in Europe tells me this PAL-conversion can't be done with a (simple) software patch but needs to be done in the service centre (and for quite a bit of money, of course...).

Does anyone know a solution that I can apply myself to convert my FS-100 from NTSC to PAL?

Ja, ging mir genauso. Zuerst hab ich mich gefreut einen billigen Firestore in Amerika gefunden zu haben um dann ein paar hundert Mäuse für ein einfaches Firmware update auf PAL hinzulegen.

Ich finde sowas sollte lostenlos zum downloaden sein. Kein Wunder das Focus zahlungsunfähig ist und Gläubigerschutz (Chapter 11) anmelden musste.

Wenn Firestore nicht (bisher) die einzige bezahlbare Alternative zu P2 Karten wäre, hätten die mich nie als Kunden gesehen.

Ich fürchte du hast keine Alternative als in den sauren Apfel zu beißen und Focus das Geld in den Rachen zu werfen.
