I've been working with my new hvx shooting dv to tape, and editing in FCP 5 for a while and everything has been working very well, happy clients, loads of referrals. I was holding off Hi Def until clients started to ask for it.
Today I've had an enquiry re High Definition footage for an Aussie documentary, so it's time to make the jump.
P2 still doesn't suit my workflow, I'll have to wait for 64 gig cards - so that leaves firestore.... or does it? I've been reading through some posts here, and there seems to be a lot of negative feeling about using it with FCP.
Is it that bad really? Would any of you guys who've been using both for a while recommend me to steer clear of firestore + FCP?
