I just got a new FS-100 and updated the firmware to v4. All seemed to go smoothly enough until I attached the Firestore to the Mac. When I looked at the clips via P2CMS all of the clips had the red x and I can't play them. I had run organize p2 prior to connecting. The upside is that I was able to import all of the clips into FCP via P2 import in FCP. No errors and all played back fine.
So, on the one hand all is well. However, it's not a warm and fuzzy feeling to see those red x's. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? I had done the same procedure with the v3 firmware and never a red x.
Any insight will be appreciated.
