Just trying out a controlled gas flame device thingy i stuck together for a film and decided to film it 200fps.
It also seems that the optical flow retiming doodad in Motion does a really good job with fire. I guess its because it has no hard edges, its nice and soft. Slowed it down 50 percent in post to give me effectively 400 frames per second.
