Fire proof camera housing...?

Why are you shooting inside the oven, how big is it, what's the subject? Is it food cooking?

400 degree housings are all pricey and big.

You stand to lose cameras attempting to get your shot. I'd be tricking it up, grade it red, add sizzle sfx. Consult a bread bakery or Pizza parlour,
call their adv agencies and ask for some tips.

Cheers.

Reason: cooking show.

I am not sure exactly what the shot will be. But I assume a timelapse.

Appreciate the tip on the bakeries! I know I've seen cameras on Discovery engulfed in flames that were probably in an enclosure of some sort. Just wondering if I was overlooking something.

Aha cooking show, yep I remember working on 'Home at 3' live on NBN3 in 1962.

Watch out for the chefs scones. On the very first show we all missed lunch at the canteen through studio lighting problems. About 3.15 live on air the chef put her scones in the oven to cook on camera and when we went off air at 3.30, the floor crew ran in to get some eats.

The floor manager got to scones first and had taken a bite when she yelled out they were plaster of paris!

The adv agencies should lead you to the studios who have experience in shooting food spots.

Cheers.
