fine lines shimmer is there a filter fix

Vertical lines on a subjects pin stripe shirt shimmer quite noticeably. Is there a filter I can apply to help with that?
 
You can add a little gausian blur... like .5 pix or so.

Also -- let this be a lesson that this WILL happen!!
