Luck still counts. The difference is that persistence, dedication and really hard work are all to the credit of the person putting them in. Luck is vital, but whether your luck is good or bad is not to your credit.

You're right - I guess I should have said it wasn't ONLY luck.
One of my favorite quotes: "“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”"
You can have some great luck in life...but if you're not prepared, if you haven't done the work, when those opportunities present themselves to you it doesn't mean anything.
