Finding out where to do this effect!

Ok, so i'm trying to do something like tihs...http://youtube.com/watch?v=urybwyUYheI...look for the one minute mark. I'm trying to do those "yellow circles in the background". How would i go about doing those little circles...I'm using AE7.0 pro, with all the plug-ins.

are you talking about the halftone pattern? If so, there is your answer.

Yeah...I think so. It's where you see the 800 dots across the screen. Just wondering what it was that created that. I was about to just find a High Res. PhotoShop file with alot of small dots and just resize it. Ok...But does After Effects have Halftone pattern? I only see it in Photoshop.

I think I use a third party plugin to do Halftone in AE. Not at my AE computer but will look tonight. Maybe this will help guide you for the time being.

I do use a third party plugin from Tinderbox but that link will send you to Pete's Plugins which has a halftone pattern. I think they are free.
