Finding cheap lavalier accessories

I have two lavs, and after a nasty issue with some other sound equipment, I've come to terms with the fact that my audio kit needs some minor refreshing: namely that the various lav clips, windscreens, and belt clips have all snapped, gone missing down a shirt somewhere, or were misplaced.

Each lav I bought came with a five or six various attachments, but looking at B&H, the prices for each seems to be about ten bucks. This feels a little high for these little bits of plastic. Is there somewhere I can find them a bit cheaper or that sells them a bunch of them as a kit? It's a countryman and tram if that matters.

The prices are higher because the quantity sold is very low compared to your
average "plastic" part you'd find in something main stream.
There are a number of costs that it takes to create such a thing
and if they can only sell 5000 of something rather than 100,000 they have to pass
that cost on to us.

I used to cringe at windscreens that cost $20 or a clip that cost $15
but its just part of doing business. Makes you more careful when using them.

As far as using off brand clips or accessories save yourself the headache.
Just buy the part that was meant for a particular mic.

Mic's are all different sizes and one accessory wont fit another..etc.
(you cant put a TRAM vampire clip on an EMW for example.. and oh how I wish you could)

It stings a lil bit but in the long run its the way to go.
My own personal opinion.

lol, at thinking that a $15 piece of tiny plastic and a $.15 piece of tiny plastic are not made in the same exact place by the same exact people in a foriegn country.

wow that's about as generalized as one can get isnt it.

As I said...
the final amount that can be SOLD is a HUGE factor in final cost.
2nd do you think you just snap your fingers and a machine will by magic
change the product it is making?
