Finding a writer?

I have a short story that I was planning on turning into a short/possibly full length film, but I just don't have the time to write it. I'm looking to pay someone (not a lot of money, don't have that big of a budget) to do it for me, or maybe together with me. Problem is, I have no idea where to find someone, and what is a realistic amount to pay them. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Start with a short. How long (one page is one minute of film) of a short? Most writers would likely do a 5 page (5 minute) short for film credit (Written by).

I'm a writer. Can you tell me what kind of story it is, how long you'd want it to be, and what do you think your budget for the film will be?

semi-action/semi-fiction documentary (following the life of a student/heroin dealer), I'd love for it to be longer than shorter, the story has a lot of good scenes in it. And for a budget, not too much, maybe a couple of grand and thats it (hopefully more if I can find some sponsors, planning on making a teaser/trailer first)

I no longer write for film credit. Once you see directors win prizes at film festivals and you get zero, nah, now I ask for a fee. One draft and one polished. I've written for several directors. Just finished two last December and got one in the frying pan. Pm me if you are interested. I have samples and links to produced work.
