Hey guys,

Just doing a research project here and I was wondering how easy or difficult it is for filmmakers to come up with film financing. I would appreciate any insight you have in regards to independent feature films as well as large scale studio productions.

If you experience is with independent films, the research project pertains to films that are produced with the intent to enter national film festivals and make a return for investors.

Again, any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I am a subscriber and I feel it's worth it. It costs like nothing, and I've gotten a lot out of some fo the guests she's had to answer questions. Esp around Section 181. And Stacy is also enormously approachable.
 
What Mark said. Stacey is great, knows her stuff, and looks at all apsects of the indie filmmaking process memerwith emphasis on distribution. Well worth the membership. You can also get a sense of what she offers via Facebook "Film Specific".
