Finally...

On a regular day, normally, I'm on DVXuser, I'm typing a script, I'm doing something in PhotoShop / Flash, typing up some work. I'll see a nose peer around the side of my screen. It's not like it's a big deal, but the rules of laptop manners haven't been established yet. Just like table manners, you don't just automatically look at my screen. You can ask, but you don't sit next to me and read my e-mails.

Well, this is a step in the right direction. I remember hearing about these

a long time ago, but I didn't remember them until I just googled them.

Privacy Filters for your laptop. Here's how they work:

Your screen becomes less visible the more on an angle it is. I need one.

Yeah man. Some people are assholes. I hate when someone comes and looks at my screen. And I'm not doing anything indecent, I just get tired of people snooping around.

wtf.

Well put guys.

I know, and maybe they're not even trying to be annoying... they just make it their business to approve what I have on my computer.

The viewing angles on most laptops is so horrendous that I didn't think there would be a need for an innovation like this.

...interesting.

That's the trick though. I always posiion myself so that I can read somebodies screen, but where they think I can't. That's why I am an international super spy.

Crap, I shouldn't have told you that.

I had one of those on my screen at work (when I was in corporate America). Doesn't stop someone determined to see what you're doing, but it foils the casual peeker.
