After months and months of indecision and financial set backs, I have finally ordered a DVX100A for my first feature film. Originally, I was going to borrow a friend’s 100, but are shooting schedules conflicted, and frankly, I didn’t like the idea of sharing a camera anyway. Then the XL2 came out, and I was seriously considering going bankrupt for that camera, but the lack of a good wide angle lens, the question of its sound quality, and the fact that the camera is untested made me go with the tried and true DVX100A. Wish me luck! (I don't shoot till November)
