Finally got my DVX100b

Well, after getting robbed 6 months ago and losing all my saving for a DVX100a, I have been working and saving to get enough to buy the DVX100b. I ordered it Saturday from buydig.com. IT CAME TODAY! *Does a little dance*. It was weird...after cruising this site for near a year...Reading the DVX book and watching the DVD last month, I felt like I new the DVX when I opened the box. I now understand what everyone says....IT HAS THE MOJO! I will be shooting something...my first attempt ever with this camera soon. I'll post it after that. Thanks for all the support and advice I have received from this site. I will be here forever!
 
Hey, congrat's on the camera. I'm almost in your shoes, soon! When you say 'robbed' do you mean personally or from a camera dealer? I'm curious as there's much talk on the forum on who to use & who not to use. How was buydig?

I don't know if buydig is an official Panasonic dealer. But, I've had excellent experiences buying from them. They are fast, don't try to upsell and since I live 1 state away, no tax, no shipping. Can't beat that. Between me and 3 other people who have purchased from there, we've all had the same good-deal-speedy-delivery experience.

PS But, when it comes to the DVX, Panasonic dealers will sometimes bundle additional stuff to go along with the camera (ie. Barry's book, MagicBullet etc.), so if you are looking to buy a DVX, you might want to compare if certain online sellers are offering extra packages, rebates, etc. in addition to comparing the overall price. Just a thought...

My camera rocked! My friend and I shot our first thing today. I will post it soon. Buydig said they would deliver in two days and the shipping tracking number said it would arrive at 3:00pm. It arrived in exactly two days and it arrived 3 hours early! Buydig.com did not have me call to confirm or anything. I ordered, and it came. You have to send a form in or register to get the DVX book and Magic bullet though. It does not come with the camera or with a rebate. FUN FUN FUN!
Oh, When I was robbed I meant online. I went through a escrow service for a used DVX100a. The entire site was a hoax. I lost all my money to a guy in Rome Italy, operating under a company owned by the infamous "Chinese Railway Telecommunications" Responsible for the majority of the internet hoaxes. Buydig was the lowest legit dealer I found. Good luck!
