ok this think looks really good.

what do people know or think of this setup?

http://store.yahoo.com/cinemasupplies/wimoupkit.html

primarily want it to shoot stuff while driving for documentary stuff, looks like you can just as easily film driver or rotate to shoot the drivers pov of the road.

they say it works fine on the hood of the car, plenty of strong vacuum suction cups and the price is pretty fair for what it is.

comments??

i looked really hard at the cinesaddle but the other rig seemed more flexible and i just felt more certain that the once i chose would work in a more solid way?

one thing that bugs me about the cinesaddle is the piss-poor quality of their web page, you just can't even get a good look at the product.

a bit plus to the one i chose was the fact that so many vehicles i wanted to use it didn't have a dash that seemed suitable for a cinesaddle, by using the windshield i feel i'll have a more reliable surface to connect to.

i'll definitely post and let folks know how it works out.

I've said it before, and I will say it again. Car mounts just make me WAY too nervous. :-/

i hear you. i don't know if i'm even going to use it outside the car.

i am going to be doing a LOT of in car stuff and i wanted to get a really decent setup and rush at evsonline recommended this type of setup with 3 arms to get the most solid shots possible.

Yea, I would consider getting something like this one if I had to shoot interiors of a car.
