Finally buying a DVX...

[Chris_Mueller]

I'm finally, after a long time of saving up for a camera and researching, putting the money down for a DVX100a. (Thanks to 24Peter and Jarred for sending me stuff a while ago about the cam.)

I'm thinking I'll get a Portabrace DV3 softcase and a B+W multicoat UV filter, 10 MQ tapes, and, of course, an extended warranty.

Is there anything else I need to pick up? I have the tripod covered, and I think I'll hold off getting a mic for a while.

You can spend tens of thousands and there's ALWAYS something more you can "pick up."

Rember to buy what you NEED. You don't even want to see my wish list. It would even give Santa a stroke 8)

Hehe... so I take it what I'm planning to get so far is satisfactory for general screwing around until I get around to doing something of real purpose?
