Finally, a day off! What to do...

I have today off work, purportedly to celebrate a return to normalcy around here, but in fact, I was supposed to go to Universal Studios. I bailed. The weather isnt so great, I wanted to take my camera and wasnt sure about that with the weather so bad, and its payday for me. I've had a super rough few weeks and I think I am just going to relax and chill. Get out of the house, go people watching at the mall, buy some music, see a movie. Go to a nice place for lunch and search for a gas station selling regular for under $2.00/gal. Not that anyone cares, but I took some Marilyn Manson (NOT my usual taste in music) to work yesterday, put him in the player, plugged in and I blazed thru nearly a month's worth of work by 11:00a. People were pissed because all my reports were hogging the printer! haha!!!

There is absolutely no point to this post. Subconciously, I think we're due for a hijacking! :) Bring on the pancake bunnies! I'm going shopping...

(Does anyone have any idea which thread has been hijacked the most on this board?)

This, to me, sounds like the makings of a very worth while movie to make, T. Seriously, I would think it a shame if you did not. I beg you to do so, as a matter of fact, please make a movie out of this...keeping the authentic emotional content in-tact. Now, do not fall prey to the desire to overdramatize the emotional content....it's absolutely perfect in it's true natural state, and I'm not looking for more Hollywood mimicry....I want it organic. So I'd say, more than likely (and only based on human generalizations) you'll need to tone it back a little from how you initially want to portray it. And you should definately shoot it, and act in it yourself, nobody else can do this and keep it authentic, and the lack of camera movement will be balanced out by emotional worthwhileness. Maybe every now and then you can let somebody handle a pan or something, but for the most part this should be done alone.

When you are done, send the final copy to Ray Carney, and he will rave for years and surely mention you from time to time. Also, I will distribute it for you later, when my top secret plan is launched, and I would find it to be one of the most valuable players in the lineup. Please, T, do not let this beautiful, authentic artistic endevor slide by into the trail of undones. Again, I beg of you.

Sincerely.....(and that is sincere in and of itself)
Daniel Runyon

Oh yeah....please do not actually use the Marilyn Manson music, for obvious copyright reasons. I mean, a work like this is worth just letting people have for nothing (thereby skirting the concern) based on it's obvious value in it's contribution to humanity, but I would like to be able to sell copies myself. I know thats a terrible thing to be concerned with, but a man's gotta feed his family, and every little bit helps!

haha, thats something that I would do. Speaking of gas prices, here's at some places is like $2.90. That's insane! I would ride a bike, but when you live in the wessside its not a good idea. I have a better chance running. Yes Terri, you should just get out and have fun! I'm going to go see the Ring 2 with some friends tonight plus a friend of mine worked on that movie. I might just see it to see his name in the credits. Enjoy your day off! :)

Not that anyone cares,

Hey, I do!
