Tell you what... just so you can feel like your input really DOES make a difference... I promise I will honor your choice on my next QT purchase:

YEAH another QT fan!!! I stop in every morning. Have for life.

Know Yugo.

Know Joy.

Hey Kai... yeah, what is wrong with those other gas stations? If a QT goes in across the road from another station they ARE DEAD. Why? Better bathrooms then the Taj... better coffee then Starbucks... friendly employees... and all at the best prices. I'm amazed that Amoco did this MAJOR overhaul of all their stations in STL and they STILL didn't get it!

QT ROCKS!

Chick-O-Sticks ROCK! Get one tomorrow morning.

I grew up with the family that started QT back in the day so I've always had a preference for it (it was founded & is headquartered here in Tulsa). They're on just about every corner here, but it's no problem.. they're classy, and convenient, and MAN have you had those stuffed breadsticks!? :)

They're doing a test market here right now on new store designs. They all have granite countertops, etc. Setup more like a little high end grocery store than gas station. Coming your way soon i'm sure.

Buy a whole box...

Hey Kai the bathrooms in our QTs are freakin' unbelievable... rough quarry tile all the way from floor to ceiling... with rounded corners and seperate tile stalls and stainless steel sinks in granite countertops like you're saying. Super-classy.

All we want is to gas up, grab a drink, perhaps a COS, go p-p, and take off... as fast and uneventfully as we can. If you want to run a successful gas station and you don't do that stuff... and a QT comes to town... you're over.

Kai if ANYBODY would say anything bad about QT it would be me... the regional GM used me for bids for 2 years in a row... it took DAYS to do the bids... and then they just used 'em to lower the next guy. By the third year I got smart and just sent in some random figures... but anyway, there's just no denying that QT is The Borg when it comes to gas stations.

Terry my other favorite "odd snack" is a Pulparindo... in spicy of course. You gotta' get those from a Mexican Grocery.

One time I talked my brother into stopping at one when we were working... and they were out of Pulparindo... so I bought some whole tamarinds rolled in chile powder... Then me and my brother got back on the highway... it was hot that day and we had the windows down instead of the AC on... and I got out my tamarinds and started eating them... not realizing the chile dust was being swirled into the air everytime I took a bite. The wind buffetted the truck as I was hogging down a really dusty one... and suddenly my brother covered his eyes and started screaming like a little girl. Good times.:cheesy:

Well, number 3 is in the lead then! I'll be sure to post pics.

BTW a "long john" is a longer, rectangular donut, sometimes filled with Boston Creme (custard) and often topped with a cheap, sugary, chocolate icing.

A Chick-o-Stick is basically a butterfinger w/o any chocolate on the outside... if you were from the hood you'd have already known that.

That's kinda what I figured the long john was. Love those myself, though for the sake of the waistline, I haven't had one in years.

But, I had no clue about a Chick-O-Stick.

You want a funny... ahem... name... ahem, for "movies".

Otis... Spunkmeyer...?

C'mon, there is no better.

Dallas - I highly recommend you try driving the Chrysler first before making a decision. Yes, it's a nice looking vehicle. But it's crappy for driving. I had to drive one for a week. It feels big and bulky. Slow turning. And visibility in it is terrible. The low rider design gives it the bling bling look but kills the view from the driver's seat.
