final cut x hd question b4 i take the plunge

so im about to go buy final cut x hd tomorrow. i understand the pros/cons vs. this and fcp studio. im only looking to cut music videos and commercials. i'm not going to be outputing to dvd that much, instead putting stuff on the web. not going to be outputing to film so no need for cutting in 24pa.

on the other hand, if i have completed a rough cut of lets say a music video. and for some reason i needed fcp studio; would i be able to take that project to my friends house and use his fcp studio?

any other tips/suggestions welcome. thanks.
 
You should wait until NAB just to see what Apple release. Rumors 'round saying that some kind of new FCP will be released.
