Final Cut to Photoshop | stills looks darker

Hello.

I am working in a book for a friend with some images from his videos. He has exported some stills from Final Cut (TGA format or TIF). The problem that I am having is:

- when I open the images in Photoshop they looks much darker and desaturated.

If I open the still in Preview they looks very close to the video material, but when I open them in Photoshop... completely different.

Is there some specific color profile in Photoshop for Final Cut stills? Or...

Thanks. The gamma of my monitor is 2.0, but it wouldn't change from Final Cut to Photoshop, nope?
Like in Final Cut 2.0 and in Photoshop 1.8. There is only one gamma for the monitor, nope? Of course I can change it in general, but it won't change between programs. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks again.
