Final Cut Studio to After Effects

I just started getting my feet wet with after effects and I want to know if there is a way to use Final Cut and After Effects together. How do I start a final cut project and send it to after effects for special effects and then back into Final Cut! Please Help! Thanks in advance

Automatic duck is a great tool for sending your layers back and forth. You can also just export out sections of your timeline via QuickTime.
