Final Cut Studio Purchase?

[sbryan]

I'm waiting on a Macbook Pro 17" LED display with the Centrino Pro processor (aka Santa Rosa chip). July seems like a good time for those technologies to be implemented, and it's also in the same timeframe as the Adobe Master Collection, so it would behoove me to wait.

I am, however, interested in the Final Cut Studio, especially the Soundtrack Pro 2. Am I safe in purchasing the software for that program, or is there something coming out around July?

According with "Macbidouille" (http://www.macbidouille.com/news/2007-05-08/#14359), the french mac geeks site,
17" LED Dispays will not be ready until 2 years. 13" and 15" will, but not 17"

Hmmm... Is 15" the limitation of LED Displays with current technology? If that's true, I guess all I'm waiting on is the Centrino Pro.
