Final Cut Setting for DVCPROHD footage

I shoot with the HVX 200 and recently had a problem with the P2 footage that I imported into Final Cut. The problem is that it will not play back real-time on my NTSC monitor but will play in both the canvas and viewer windows. My connection is through a canopus advc 110 firewire to my computer and s-video out to my NTSC monitor.

Can anyone recommend something to help? Thanks
 
If this is DVCPRO HD/50, this is a no-go.

You cannot play out HD footage through the advc. Only DV

Thanks. Will it allow me to connect the HVX to the computer and NTSC monitor and have the playback function on the NTSC monitor?

What is a good solution for this problem? Kona card?
 
Decklink or AJA (Kona) is the solution. Unfortunately you cannot play through camera.

I have a decklink and the Panny 17" monitor.

Really like the combo.

The monitor is also good for on-set images.

Thanks so much for your help. I recently used the Panny 17" monitor on a music video shoot. It's beyond incredible! I'll research the decklink. Thanks again.
