We are using Final Cut Server 1.5.87 and FCP 7.0.3. The media and project files are stored on the Server. The projects are checked out and stored locally. Today, the server went down. When it came back, FCP was unable to locate the media. I had to reconnect all the files manually (which took 30 minutes
The clips were not able to recognize as the server seemed to cut short the last couple of characters and so I had to find by unchecking "exact name" box. However, even some of the graphics and music files that had exact names had to be located manually.
Does anyone know why it can't reconnect automatically. I tried usual fixes such as quit programs, shut off computer, check project into server, try with another computer, etc... Is there a fix?
